Abstract
The Crowd Energy Concept, like other self-organized communities, will exploit its full potential when well-designed rules and rule-sets foster cooperative behaviour among its members and regulate trading of energy and resources. Prosumer behaviour is the one important question to answer in the context of SUEs. Equally important, however, is the question of how such communities are formed or how the transition process can be initiated and supported. This question ties in to recent research on grassroots innovation and user-driven innovation.
